Whether you’re looking for a suitable place for private meetings or a full conference with many participants, The Lapis Hotel can always accommodate.Our Bach Dang Conference Center is on our underground level (B1) and has three separate rooms: Bach Dang 1, Bach Dang 2, and Bach Dang 3. This means that we can accommodate different meetings simultaneously if needed.

The Bach Dang Conference Centre is named after the Bach Dang River, the site where the Vietnamese army beat northern invaders not just once but twice.The tale is one of brilliant strategy, and therefore provides an apt name for our venue for business. In 1288, Mongol invaders were pushing down from the north with their sights set on colonizing Vietnam. They travelled down the Bach Dang River, where the celebrated military tactician Tran Hung Dao placed large spears beneath the water. The Mongol ships were caught in the water, where the Vietnamese forces attacked and eventually overcame the invaders. Tran Hung Dao lends his name to different streets in cities across Vietnam, including the street where The Lapis Hotel is located.
